This web site provides information on bills in Congress that impact Social Security, Medicare, and other senior issues.

Just click on any of the issues listed on the right hand side of this page (for example, "COLA Bills" and you'll see a list of the active bills before Congress. There's a brief summary of each bill, and you can click on any of the bill numbers for more information.

One of the handiest tools on the site is the ability to click on the "View Cosponsors" link under each bill and see whether your Congressmen or Senators support this legislation. (We update this information weekly.) If they are a cosponsor, then their support for the bill is pretty certain. If not, they may not have made a decision yet. You may want to contact them to either thank them for their stand on the bill (they so rarely hear that) or to urge them to support (or oppose) any bill.

You can get contact information on any elected official, and send them an email, through our "Guide to Contacting Congress" page.
